My problem is that no where on the box does it say anything about developer and as far as I was aware you need developer when using out of the tube dyes (my sister uses them but is impossible to get a hold of) and the lady at Sallys, who seemed sort of clueless, declared that since it said no where on the box it needed a developer that I didn't need one. I figure if I'm going to try and fix it might as well try something else too. I had someone at work tell me to try out the tubed dyes after seeing the train-wreck that is my hair and I knew Sallys carried the Ion in the color I needed. Last time it was purple (which I managed to salvage somehow) and this time it was Aqua Rush I had used and once again it came out terrible so clearly going to be an every time thing with this brand. Specifically I was using SPLAT! brand to dye my hair and good god it comes out terrible. Ok so I've never dealt with out of a tube dye before, I've dyed my hair many times before with boxed color and never had a problem until now when I'm trying to dye my hair unnatural colors, it would seem my hair is rejecting it.
